Located near the banks of a meandering tidal river in Cumberland County. Broadfork Farm is Shannon Jones and Bryan Dyck, who grow organic produce and cut flowers in River Hebert, NS. One of my favourite farms in Nova Scotia; their methods and holistic outlook on farming always leave me feeling inspired when I visit. They prioritize cultivating habitat for bees and other pollinators amongst their vegetable production. This ties in perfectly with their interest in cut flowers... colourful rows of flowers frequently intersperse with rows of food crops.
