(Citrullus latanus) - One of the earliest maturing watermelon varieties around. Developed in the 70’s by breeder Glenn Drowns to mature in his mountainous Idaho climate. Medium sized, red-fleshed melons are sweet and loaded with flavour. Beautiful dark green (almost black) skins. Thrives outdoors here in the Maritimes. 25 seeds (1 g)
