Butterflay Spinach

Favourite among both market farmers and backyard gardeners. The dark green savoyed leaves are delicious and tender. They stay succulent even when huge. Very cold hardy for winter harvests. Our favourite way to grow them is with a September sowing in our unheated greenhouse. The plants grow throughout autumn and go into winter as small rosettes. In the long sunlit days of early spring the plants go back into full growth; providing many baskets of greatly appreciated greens in an otherwise meager time of year! Approx. 150 seeds (2 g)
