Swamp Milkweed is the better behaved cousin of Common Milkweed; They don’t spread through rhizomes the way Common Milkweed does. Both species are equally good monarch habitat. Also much loved by bees. A beautiful flower in its own right, Swamp Milkweed is very much at home in perennial flower beds and borders. 3-4’ tall. 40+ seeds
