Blue Lake Pole Bean

(Pole Bean) - Immensely productive vines will climb up any sized support, and bear loads of pencil sized deep-green pods. Compared to our other pole beans, Blue Lake has smaller pods but usually out-yields everything but Lazy Housewife (at least at our farm). This variety dates back about 100 years to the Blue Lake area of Northern California. There is also a Blue Lake bush bean, but ours is the pole version. 30-50 seeds (Approx. 8 g)
