Horn of Plenty

New for 2025 - Fedia cornucopiae - aka Doucette d'Alger, Algerian Corn Salad. Annual warm season salad green, grows wild in the Mediterranean basin. Related to Corn Salad, with larger leaves that are more floral in taste. Nutty with a pleasing mild bitterness, they're delightful mixed into salads. Frost sensitive, and best suited for the summer months. Equally worthy for their ornamental qualities; lilac flowers develop from the leafy rosettes and take over the show by late summer. 

We've been growing and enjoying this plant for a number of years now. It's a scant seed producer for us, so I'm happy that we finally have enough seed to offer them!
