Giant Musselburgh Leek

Large, hardy winter leek, perfect for soups and stews. Stalks average 2-3 inches ion diameter. A Scottish heirloom that dates back to the 1830's. Start seeds indoors in late winter and transplant out in early May. Leeks are biennials and will produce beautiful spherical blooms that are beloved by bees in their second year.
