Purple Foxglove

Digitalis purpurea – Majestic biennial, with tall spikes of purple bell-shaped blossoms in their second year. Perfect in borders and wild cottage-style gardens. Foxglove can self seed, popping up here and there in the garden. Bees love them! From the same hardy strain that grows naturalized on the west coast, although they seem unable to spread very far here in the east. Thrives in partial shade and moist soil. 100+ seeds (0.1g)
