Sonia's Purple Zinnia

New for 2026 - Zinnia elegans - Big ruffled orbs of vividly purple petals. They make lovely fresh cut flowers, and are a favourite of both bees and butterflies. The flowers are mostly doubles (meaning the more layered type) with a few singles mixed in. We're selecting for the doubles each season, so hopefully we'll have more and more in future years. Branching 3-4' plants which bloom for months; late summer until first frost. These seeds came to us from a gardener named Sonia at the Peterborough Seedy Sunday a few years back. 30+ seeds
