Black Hungarian Broomcorn

New for 2025 - Sorghum bicolor - Broomcorn is a type of sorghum selected to have extra long panicle stalks for crafting into traditional brooms. Once the seeds are stripped off the heads, the resulting stalks are what you want for broom making. The seed of the variety have a tightly bound hull, and aren't really worth processing for food. They make good chicken feed though. Towering plants, the tallest sorghum I've ever grown at around 12'. The sturdy stalks will provide good support for pole beans.
