New for 2024 - Clinopodium nepeta - aka Lesser Calamint. Aromatic herb, seldom grown in Canada but essential in mediterranean and middle eastern cuisine. The flavour is something like a mixture of mint, oregano and basil… yet distinctly it’s own thing. Perennial, once established the plants form dense mounds topped by purple flowers, about 24” tall. They don’t seem to spread beyond where they’re planted, at least in my few years of observation. Drought tolerant. Hardy to zone 5. 75+ seeds
