Piracicaba Broccoli

B. oleracea - Heat tolerant small-heading variety. The main attraction is the plethora of tender side shoots that keep regrowing when cut. Harvests start mid-summer and can continue right through the end of fall. Originally from Brazil, they don’t mind warm summer weather as long as they don't dry out. Can be sown in early spring, or start them in August/September and overwinter for extra early harvests the following year. I love them salted and lightly sauteed. 100+ seeds (0.5 g)
