Cucumis sativus - This heirloom from Maine is Yonder Hill's favourite. Fruits are on the small side, 4-6” and tan coloured, turning plump and yellow as they ripen. Excellent dual purpose cucumber: stays sweet even when overripe for fresh eating and makes the perfect pickle when picked young.
