Phaseolus acutifolius - Tepary beans are a different species than the common bean (Phaseolus acutifolius, instead of Phaseolus vulgaris). An ancient crop, native to the dry southwestern regions of our continent. Although tepary beans are rarely grown in Canada, I've found this variety does well in our NS climate. Bushy plants with short runners. Thrives in the worst drought. Limited Supply, 30 seeds
