Setaria italica - Foxtail millet is a warm season grain, best planted after the last frost of spring. Easy to grow and thrives in poor soil; we've seen it do well even in our sandiest field during drought years. The bushy seed heads are blushed with purple and are a beautiful Autumn focal point.
