New for 2025 - Boehmeria cylindrica - aka False Nettle, Bog Nettle. Fascinating native perennial, of moist woodlands and river edges. At first glance they look like stinging nettle, but they're in fact stingless. Native all across eastern North America. They develop into 2-3' tall dense clumps. The leaves are edible when young, and can be cooked in similar ways as Stinging Nettle. Although their flowers don't attract many pollinators, they're an important host plant for several types of butterfly. 50+ seeds

NS eco-type (originally sourced from wild local plants)
