New for 2024 - Heliopsis helianthoides - Perennial wildflower native to woodland meadows and tallgrass prairies across central/eastern North America. Within Canada it ranges from Saskatchewan to Newfoundland (but not NS). Tall upright plants grow to 4-6’, with yellow blossoms like miniature sunflowers. Bees enjoy the flowers, and songbirds flock to the seedheads for fall food. Growing: Cold-moist stratify seeds for 6-8 weeks. 75+ seeds (0.5 g)
