Crown Pumpkin

C. maxima - This heirloom variety is the quintessential table pumpkin of New Zealand. Luscious, deep-orange flesh. Sweet, dense and great for all kinds of baking. One of the very best eating pumpkins, with the silkiest consistency. Large sprawling vines. This variety was shared with me by Kay Baxter from the collection of the Koanga Institute, where I visited in 2011. 15 seeds
