African Foxglove

New for 2024 - Ceratotheca triloba - This stunning annual is actually more closely related to sesame than to true foxglove (Digitalis). Large bell-shaped flowers hang from 6’ stalks. They come in a mixture of white and purple. I love the seed heads, fuzzy with pointy ‘ears’. Warm season annual, native to South Africa. Start seeds indoors about 6-8 weeks before the last frost. They like full sun. Blooming begins in August and continue until the first frost of autumn. Said to be deer resistant. 40+ seeds
