New for 2025 - Light green ripening to red, these large fruit are flavourful yet only mildly hot. Ideal for roasting, stuffing and salsas. Tall plants which bear lots of tapered 7" fruit. This variety traces back to 1894, when farmer Emilio Ortega brought seeds from New Mexico to Anaheim, California, eventually selecting them for mildness in their new location. 25 seeds
