Canadian Wild Goose Bean
Early and abundant harvests of small grey-speckled beans. Self supporting bush plants which send out half-runners; they'll tangle together but staking is optional. 40+ seeds (12 g)
-Grown by Raina McDonald, Pictou Co. Seed Collective
I haven't yet found details on the story of this bean, but it's one of several heirloom beans (Mostoller Wild Goose being another one) gathered from the crops of wild geese and then planted the following spring. One can safely assume Canada Geese have impeccable taste when it comes to choosing which bean patches to raid.
