Carmine King California Poppy

New for 2025 - Eschscholzia californica - Fuschia pink blossoms open each day atop ferny foliage. Like the wild golden form of California Poppy, the flowers are a draw for pollinators. I treat them as an annual, although they're perennial in mild winter climates. Direct sow in early spring, or delicately transplant (the roots dislike disturbance).
