Fish Eye Black Eyed Pea

New for 2026 - Vigna unguiculata - This one really put on a show during the drought of 2025. Big yellow flowers are followed by long slender green pods. Eat the young pods (delicious sautéed) or let them grow into dry beans. The drought didn't slow them down at all, they seemed in their element. Some plants are true bushes, while others have short runners. Appalachian heirloom, grown for many years by the Ezelle family. They made their way to Twisted Brook from Truelove Seeds in Pennsylvania.
