Stratification 2-4 weeks of cold/moist stratification can accelerate germination, but is optional in my experience
Sowing Indoors mid-spring, I start mine in April. Seed are tiny, sow on the surface and keep evenly moist. 2-3 weeks for germination.
Transplant outdoors After the plants have established
Spacing 18-24" between plants
Soil requirements Tolerant of very poor dry soil. Not at all picky, but good drainage is a must
