Over the Rainbow Carrot
A kaleidoscope of colour and flavour! Roots come up tie-dye purple and orange, rosy pink, sunshine yellow, a sunset of oranges and all things in-between. An open pollinated love-in. Grown and selected for years by Steph Warr for the best colours and flavours, best storing roots and strong tops.
-Grown by Twisted Brook
We're really excited to finally offer this seed; we've never sold carrots until now! Growing carrot seed in eastern Canada is hard due to the masses of Wild Carrot (also known as Queen Anne’s Lace) which will readily cross pollinate with carrot. Our neighbourhood is especially abundant with them. Steph has been experimenting with isolating the 2nd year flowering plants in the greenhouse, of which this is the successful result!
