New for 2024 - Pulsatilla vulgaris - aka: Meadow Anemone, Windflower. Perennial wildflower native to the grasslands of Eurasia. Here on the farm their fuzzy leaves and flowers are among the first to appear in early spring, emerging soon after the snow has melted. But the real magic begins as their whimsical fluffy seed heads develop, which persist until early summer. Delightful at every stage of growth. Cold hardy and drought tolerant. They prefer growing in dry soil, perfect for rock gardens. Once established they don’t like being disturbed. Seeds will require cold/moist stratification for best germination. Hardy to zone 4 30+ seeds
