Sanguisorba minor - Beautiful edible perennial. Clumping plants with small serrated compound leaves, on stems around 1' tall. They develop into 4' flower spikes. Leaves are mildly cucumber flavoured, and most tender in spring. Use them directly in salads, or for garnishing sauces, drinks and soups. 50+ seeds

Sowing Start seeds indoors early spring, about 6-8 weeks before last frost date. Can also be direct sown in early spring. Light helps germination, so barely cover the seeds and keep moist.
