New for 2026 - Allium nutans - aka Blue Chives, Steppes Onion. This hardy perennial is native to central Asia, where it grows in wet meadows and streamsides among the steppe grasslands. Showy purple globe shaped blossoms reach 18" in mid summer. All parts of the plant are edible, the young leaves in spring are good chopped small like you would regular chives.
