Any type of buckwheat is an irresistible nectar source for bees, and this variety is particularly floriferous. Great warm season cover crop. Let the grain mature for replanting next year, or process them into flour and flavourful porridge.

Sowing Direct sow after the risk of frost. Buckwheat is tough and fast growing, but not frost hardy.
Spacing About 2-6" between plants, in rows 12-24" apart. Closer for cover cropping purposes.
