Annual Flowers

Annual Flowers

While vegetables are food for the body, flowers are food for the soul. And for beneficial insects too! I've come to love growing flowers in and amongst my vegetables. Their presence not only brightens up the garden, but feeds a diversity of pollinators. From wild bees and butterflies to hover flies and ladybugs (fun fact: ladybugs rely on pollen and nectar in periods of few aphids).
