New for 2026 - Lobelia cardinalis - Native perennial with showy scarlet red flowers. Their native range includes NB, Quebec, Ontario and the eastern US. 3-4' tall flower spikes which bloom from the bottom up over multiple weeks in August and September. They prefer moist soil, and are often found near water in the wild. They'll do fine in medium-dry soil too. Attractive to hummingbirds, butterflies and other native pollinators. Deer resistant. Occasionally will self-seed when conditions are good.
