Mitla Black Tepary Bean

Phaseolus acutifolius - Big yields of small shiny black beans. Vigourous semi-runner plants, with vines about 3’ long. I prefer to let the short vines sprawl over the ground rather than stake them. Tepary beans are a separate species from common beans, long grown in the arid southwest of our continent. Very drought tolerant. 30-40 seeds (10 g)
